New Subject, New Blog: “From The Ground Up”
Today I published the first post in my new blog, From The Ground Up. This blog will chronicle my build-a-Jeep project, so if you’re interested in following along with me as I literally build a six-wheel-drive Jeep from the ground up, I invite you to hop over there and take a look. It will be more technical over there, as my purpose is to provide tips, tricks, and lessons along the way that others might want to take advantage of (or avoid!) when they undertake their own vehicle-building projects.
I’ll still be posting here, of course, because my journeys haven’t ended. I have the AFROTC Drill Team / Honor Guard reunion coming up in March; I’ll be riding my Honda on a five-week trip in July and August, and I’ll again be riding in Tour DaVita come September. And, of course, there are the mental and emotional journeys I sometimes write about.
But if you’re interested in a more-or-less technical blog about how to (or how not to) build a one-of-a-kind Jeep, go check out From The Ground Up.
Thanks.
Will it hurt too much if I don’t register? I love hearing about your jeep and your adventures, of course, but I don’t have a jeep, and I know almost nothing about cars (except of course what you taught me… changing a wheel is my favorite, and I love shocking people when I can do it) except how to drive them (that I learned from you, too!). ❤
No, it won’t bother me at all. It’s aimed at a different audience than this one, and I expect to have different people reading it. I appreciate you asking, but no. There’s no rule in the Daddy handbook (or Daughter handbook, either, that I know of) that says kids have to read everything Dad writes. 🙂
